Repair Work
Tom has been performing a variety of repair work on guitars for many years. Some of his projects are pictured below.
Notice fret crown and end finished shape
Guitar: Graupner & Meyer (Philadelphia company in business between 1892 & 1908)

Added rosewood cleats along crack to stabilize side.
This lattice braced top had disastrous failure and ripped part of the top off. You can see new bracing block added in center section (also added one of these on either side within lattice bracing pattern). Spanned to remaining good top wood.
Added structure to inside of guitar top and then bolted bridge through to new lattice bracing bridge plate. Sound didn’t seem to be impacted and now structurally sound.
Electric guitar re-fret job with jumbo fret material.
Note finish on ends of frets nice and rounded over to become “quarter-sphere” in shape for smooth finger feel all along neck.
